I just purchased today a new Traveler DC-8600 camera from ALDI (for only 179,-). It was allready flashed with firmware 3.21

But it seems to have a problem. When taking pictures, a message appears media full or media error.
I'm using the traveler 512MB SD card, and formatted it in the camera before taking pictures.

I also tried a Sandisc Ultra3 2GB card, a panasonic 128MB card and a KingMax 512MB MCC card, they all had the same problem. When I take a picture, a message appears... media full. When looking on the SD card, there are no pictures available. All the cards working fine in my other camera and PC.

I also formatted the SD cards using my PC, but the same problems occurs.

When no SD or MCC card is inserted the camera works fine.

Tomorrow I'm gonna switch the camera for an other one, which hopefully doesn't have this problem.

no problem for your bad german. freuen I think you cam is broken. If you see i've the same cam and i've no problemms with the traveler 512 MB and traveler 2GB SD-Card. Probably is the SD-Modul corrupt and the saved pictures can't write to the card.

Descrive you problem at the phone and they will help you. I realy think you have to send the camera to the Service and they will fix it or you get a new cam.

Ok, I've got an other one. This one is working fine. I just switched it at the aldi store where I bought the other (defective) one.

Hallo ich habe also der DC-8600 for 1 einer jahr gekauft in juni 2007 und habe der selbe probleem mediatvul or keiner media card
keiner bilder auf media gut ich ben in dass nets und sehe das vieler habe das geleichen probleem einer sagte mir die accu gut auf zu laden werkte nicht
tja ich bin nicht so happy mit deser camera
ich hofe das er nicht kaput ist da ich nicht in europa wohne
